Monday Mixteen: 2/19/18

Monday Mixteen 20180219

I’ve designed this special playlist in honor of President’s Day. It’s an acrostic playlist, and here’s a little refresher from your high school English class: an acrostic poem forms a word with the first letter of each verse in the poem. Except in this case, it’s the song titles that form not a word, but the name of our nation’s first President.

  1. “Gaby’s Noodles”, Hey Cowboy!
  2. “Even in the Morning”, Caved Mountains
  3. “Out West”, Loyal Sally
  4. “Repopulate”, The Delzells
  5. “Gotta Get to You”, Matthew McNeal
  6. “Echo Spring”, Hightower
  7. “Who Knows the Snow”, Andy Pickett
  8. “Alive”, Slim Lemon
  9. “Slow Down”, Northern National
  10. “Heavy Heart”, Artemus
  11. “If You Love”, French 75
  12. “Nibirian Sun”, Atlantis Aquarius
  13. “Gaslighting”, Goodnight Ned
  14. “Technicolor”, Ellen Once Again
  15. “Ooze”, Sunbuzzed
  16. “New Cycle”, Ron Bultongez

And regarding the last track, The Ghost wants to give Mr. Bultongez a sincere congratulations for his upcoming appearance on American Idol. The show returns March 11th on ABC, and I’ll be watching and cheering him on. I encourage my readers to follow suit.
