Monday Mixteen: 1/22/18

South by Southwest may be over a month away, but it seems as if there’s already plenty of talk regarding the acts that made the cut.  Today’s Monday Mixteen gives you an opportunity to sample some of the Texas acts that will be performing.  In addition to some very familiar names, there are a few local acts that have not received much attention thus far (Tayla Parx, Little Mazarn).  And as usual, there’s plenty of Austin acts on the bill, so it only felt appropriate to feature some on today’s playlist.

I’d love to comment on each and every track, but I also want to make sure the Monday Mixteen happens… well, on a Monday.  I may add commentary later, but odds are you’re just going to have to enjoy the tracks without my thoughts.

  • Monday Mixteen: 3/8/21 Unless if you’ve been living under a rock. you have probably heard about the two COVID related mandates issued by Governor Abbott.  These mandates, which go into effect Wednesday, deal with business capacity, and the other with masks in public.
